RESTORATIVE YOGA:  This beautiful gentle practice will provide you with the physical and mental balance, it can help relieve stress and anxiety. You will use props i.e: bolsters, pillows and straps and blankets so that poses can be held longer, giving you the support you need to attain the benefits of a deep gentle stretch which will allow the mind to calm and the body to open. This practice will help balance your body’s nervous system with benefits for injury recovery and mental clarity.

 

YIN YOGA: This deep practice will consist of a series of long floor poses that will work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine. This practice will help work deep into your joints whilst increasing flexibility, you will learn to surrender and discover the art of letting go.

 

FLOW YOGA: Our flow classes are a combination of movement with poses and breath work, you will start to notice changes in your strength and flexibility. The pace is gentle and the teacher will give a number of options in order to accomodate all levels. Create poise, reduce stress, and improve your body’s overall physical health in a holistic and supportive environment. You’ll explore strength building postures, purification practices, controlled breathing for calming the mind for relaxation and meditation.

 

KIDS YOGA: Fun kid friendly yoga classes incorporate age appropriate poses, games, props music, and exercises to engage children’s bodies and minds. The concept of meditation is introduced as a means to calm the body and mind.

 

TEEN YOGA: Teen yoga classes are designed to be effective in empowering and supporting teenagers to manage the growing challenges and pressures of everyday life on a mental, physical and emotional level. The classes are a fun and dynamic way that teens can learn the foundations of yoga in a structured space.

CLASES ARE FOR ALL LEVELS, BEGINNERS TO EXPERIENCED: The classes at Bend and Stretch Wellness are designed with a refreshing uncomplicated approach to yoga, allowing you to leave the mat more open, energised and inspired. I have taken this opportunity to open an intimate space up in the hills of Bilabial Heights welcoming anyone seeking a calming and renewing approach to yoga.
